I'm sorry, I will be the bearer of bad news again. Those handles are not unique and can be spawned over and over again by scammers, spammers, etc. NIP-05s would be better but people would have to care about them enough to keep them unchanged and valid. The best bet here is to share full pubkeys. I know it is not really feasible in print, but at least in the digital version npubs could be included.
True, I also have a smal text about ‘be aware of scammers’ don’t trust, verify. This is more for instagram/twitter users who get a first tast of #Nostr
Like me I come from non-tech background. I just love to create ✍️ In the online version or website when people like the book we can add the Npubs of course. For now I want people get a small idea what is Nostr. Same like Bitcoin most people really don’t get it (yet) step by step 🤙
