 @efa2e20e @aba3e4c9 wind power is a disaster in the uk - it just isn’t a viable technology; breaks far too easily, doesn’t work with light winds or really strong winds, needs grid power to work. The damage caused by the wind turbines is quite major, and completely fucks the local wildlife. Solar actually performs better - and yes it does work when it’s cloudy. All year round. (Except when covered by snow lol). The biggest effect is the angle of the sun in the sky in winter due to earth tilt
