Lightning payouts sound cool until you realize you need to run a CLN node.
Why does it need to be CLN? This is news to me.
You need to be able to submit a bolt 12 invoice.
Only way to prove we've paid people. It would completely break our design if we didn't use BOLT12 and just said "trust us!" We've allocated resources to help people get setup with BOLT12 but really LND just need to get on with it.
none of this is accurate. braiins does it without bolt12. it uses bolt11. which also means lnd can be used. there is nothing inherent about lightning payouts and having to use bolt12.
None of this is accurate. Ocean specifically stated two weeks ago that you'll need a bolt 12 invoice and the ability to sign a transaction with your private key. Please remember that Braiins has accounts and Ocean does not have accounts. 🎤 💧

No. You just need to sign off a message to prove you are owner of the address and then provide just standard LN invoice.
