There have been many many times in life where I simply wasn’t feeling it.

Where I didn’t feel like honoring my commitments to others or to myself.

I simply just showed up and did shit anyway.

I did things I didn’t want to do. At times I didn’t want to do them. For small amounts of money.

I did things that were painful or difficult or unpleasant and I did them without complaint.

I did these things because I knew they were necessary to get the results I was after.

Most people are not willing to do hard things and so most people get the same results.
There are times when we just need to do the tasks that are in front of us.

It’s not always just the hard things. It’s the things that just need to be done.
This, in my opinion, is what it means to be a man.

Or at least a significant part of it.
 “Effort brings satisfaction”
-Ive Never understood how so many men don’t understand this.
There's that saying that comes to mind that goes something like "you wanted x, but someone wanted it more and did was was necessary to get - they did what you weren't willing to do"
 💪🏼 🫡
We all have had to sink into the suck first, realizing it's the easy path initially with more pain in the end to then grow into having this outlook.
Sounds a little like proof of work. No strength without struggle.
 Sounds like life 🤷‍♂️
It’s basic, but you’d be surprised how few people willingly submit to hard/uncomfortable things.
Yeah I understand that. I’m a blue collar worker so most of the things now a days I don’t understand/recognize bc I think people are inherently lazy as fuck and not that intelligent.
The difference lies in the process and all of the struggle and work that comes with achieving your dreams and goals. It is easy to say you want to become X or do Y, but the real decision to make is what struggle and difficulties are you willing to deal with and overcome.
100%. I view this the same as “Time in the market vs. timing the market.” If you don’t keep showing up even when you don’t feel like it, whether that’s at home, work, church, etc., you might miss out on a God candle moment in your life
