Any desire in relation to length of one's life is a form of hedonism. Whether you want to live long, or die young, or live specific number of years or till some event or to suicide, you are giving into pointless irrational hedonism. Before you say "no, no, this is rational", remember that all hedonists of all levels have an explanation for their hedonism, which, in their mind, is totally rational, and they think there is no other way, they are a victim of some circumstances, etc.
It does not matter how long we live, how much we experience, how much we achieve. The only thing that matters is NOW, which consists of 3 seconds, the previous second, the present second, and the next second. Everything else does not exist, did not exist, and will not exist.
Are you sacrificing your only thing that exists, the NOW, for something that never existed and never will?
