you can have multiple columns up on one screen and get a good look at the whole network in one glance  

 Never used twitter, nor tweetdeck so I wouldn’t have a clue 😅 but ehm, seems a bit much? No? 

 Lol yeah a lot of people find it overwhelming , more for the power users
