Killer drums on this track by The Retrograde. Been digging them a lot this week, check em out on @wavlake here: https://wavlake.com/track/7b5f2dfb-f578-44f4-b75b-44b249e9f3f8

Yo Sam, or maybe @OpenMike do you know how to find an artist’s npub in Wavlake so I can follow or tag them on other clients? #asknostr

Sound The Black Keys style 🤙
Very good
 Oh yeah!! Good call 🔥
 DM for you 🫂🎨
 Received ☺️ thanks again!
There would be an “N” logo with the rest of their social links in their profile if they added one. I don’t believe they are here yet. https://image.nostr.build/a05d933b7efb75dbc1ce7398808adf6136addd99ab63e5c9b02b8ff76cb78c5b.jpg
 Got it, thanks brother 🤙
Still thinking about this (because it’s cool). Does the artist have a choice to enter an existing keypair and/or generate a new one?

This actually reminds me of another question — I believe I remember you saying that musician onboarding is manual/p2p at the moment.

When an artist signs up with Wavlake, do they automatically get a Lightning wallet (custodial or otherwise) to start receiving listeners’ zaps? Do they need to actively set their own Lightning address/is it part of their onboarding flow?

Thinking about how Wavlake is orange-pilling artists, vs bringing on previously Bitcoin-friendly musicians, vs a hands-off, “do that part if you want to” feature similar to how a nostr keypair would work for them?
On mobile everyone gets a keypair, or can bring their own. Wallet option provided as well. These two features operate somewhat differently between mobile and web, as well as artist vs. listener profiles, but will soon be functioning more consistently across the board.
 Sweet. Thanks man 🤙
