 probably every member of #plebchain has their own idea about what it means. For me it was a way to find people on this new platform with whom I could talk and learn and discover what nostr is and can become, and probably who has some interest in the decentralized permissionless peer to peer transmission of value for value via the lighting network 

 sorry, not platform but rather protocol, an important distinction! 

 Pleb is what we call the people here in nostr which means 'ordinary people' and the word chain is added to it so you can easily follow it and then the hastag so it becomes #plebchain like #coffeechain if you like coffee ☕️.  

 It helps you connect with others and in many cases boosts your signal to those following the hashtag or searchbot that reposts notes using the hashtag. Welcome!
