I started doing breathwork sessions with one of my closest friends a few weeks ago. We had our third session tonight. She went into it saying she felt really tense & overwhelmed because of her job. At the end of the session she looked up at me with tears running down her face and said “I don’t know what’s happening with my body right now but I feel so relieved”. She started crying during breathwork bc her body finally got to release something she was holding for who knows how long. It was so cool
 Breathing is very therapeutic!
 Where can I learn this
There are breathwork facilitators that see clients all over the country. I have clients I see 1:1
Wim hoff and Jesse Palmer are also good places to start learning breathing techniques
Ah the Iceman, I remember him. Ill get started with him again
 Sorry Jesse coomer* not Palmer
i’ve tried breath work on my own a handful of times, once i had a really powerful experience, the other times i’m not so sure
is breath work i can teach myself to get better at, by myself? through videos, books, etc.? or must you be taught by a guide?
You should totally do Breathwork videos. Showing/leading newbies how to do it, just like your friend Maybe even do it live!? Epic.
Well done! I'm happy you were so instrumental to bring such positive effect to someone else, keep it up
That’s what the work is about! We’re all in this together 🫂
 Beautiful
Great note Bailey! I have worked in private practice psychology for 25 years now and learning how to breathe properly is an important skill. Most people just don't slow down enough to breathe, meditate, etc. Keep doing what you are doing!
@bailey check DMs asap, its important.
