As a last word before taking a nap after lunch: I do not consider women who oppose marriage and family to be feminists. In my opinion, feminists are women who fight for equal rights and opportunities, and this does not necessarily mean removing marriage and family from women's lives.

Feminism and women's right never took off until the male dominated CIA promoted it in the 1960s is elegantly expressed in the documentary "freedom to fascism" by Aaron Russo. It was expressly promoted purely so that the government could collect more taxes. Anyone who had to grow up in a single parent household knows the effects of growing up without parents around. Thankfully I was an intelligent kid and stayed out of trouble.
So to summarize, feminism was created crafted, and used for evil by an evil organization, and it's gotten away from its original pro-women goals.
