Oddbean new post about login | logout The first couple of episodes I was a bit meh because to me it looked like they hadn't been able to make up their minds about whether to make a comedy, a serious story, or what. But after a couple more, it does come together very well.
Nice. Top tier acting too
I mean, Colin fucking Farrell. He even nails the mix of NJ accent + speech impediment. Uncanny. I do wish they had gone a bit lighter with the make up, so we could see more of his actual facial expressions and work. But still, I get and respect the reasons why they must have chosen the opposite path.
