Oddbean new post about login | logout Still not working, seems has default private key and can’t put in public key. What am I not understanding.
did you create a new profile and add your private key?
when I did try to add name nothing changed, private key space and public key still filled out default
Just select the private key field and hit backspace until it is empty, then paste nsec in there
Did that but now there’s a public key I can’t remove
It will automatically include your public key (npub). You do not need to worry about filling that in or changing it.
Done now relays done then do I close?
Says I have not remembered any app requests and under that close button or clear data
Just select close. You can add sites you use regularly and add permissions in there if you wanted but not required. try logging in to any nostr app that allows to sign in with an extension - like nostrnests.com
