Yeah, I'm not sure if any author can help inserting their worldview here and there. I try to balance it somewhat by having characters express different viewpoints. Many of them turn out to be villains 🤣 though not all. For example, I acknowledge a deep-seated anti-religion bias, so I made a point of creating a couple of characters who espouse the best of that worldview, and sometimes live it.

 @a3976b27 @7ccb675f Yeah, I do have a couple of deeply religious or semi-religious people on board. Mostly it serves to say "hey, in a multi-species crew you happen to have several belief systems and you somehow have to make it work if everybody should feel comfortable". It does play a role in how my minor antagonist ended up as screwed a personality as he is, but on the other hand I have a priest of another religion on board who does a lot in fulfilling spiritual needs of everybody.
