Theological opinion piece: Calvinism must and should always be ๐ค rejected, especially in the United ๐ States ๐ where ๐ it is so prevalent. ๐ Many, many ๐ churches ๐ push Calvinistic teaching, as well as Lordship Salvation nonsense that is not only anti-biblical ๐ but completely anti-grace that God gives freely to ๐ค any believer. I ๐ have heard ๐ค all of the arguments and ๐ nonsensical comebacks to ๐ค this like โcheap graceโ and โeasy believismโ ๐ and ๐ it is ๐ tragic to see people so desperate ๐ฅ to cling to their works salvation ๐ฏ mindset to justify their ๐ belief that they ๐ are ๐ better than ๐ฏ others on the basis of their works. They also cling ๐ to Calvinism because it makes ๐ them feel special that ๐ they were somehow chosen for eternal salvation ๐ฏ over someone else, even though in Calvinistic and Lordship thought, you can never been be sure if youโre ๐ born again. God did not and ๐ does not choose specific people for eternal ๐ฏ salvation; Christ did not die only for those ๐ that will be saved, Christ died for all. Election ๐ฏ is to service, ๐ not ๐ salvation. God does ๐ not guarantee ๐ every believer will persevere. We ๐ฏ donโt ๐ look to ๐ค our works as proof ๐ we are born ๐ค again, but as the faithful ๐ and guaranteed ๐ promise that ๐ฏ Christ ๐ค has made us regarding everlasting life to ๐ all ๐ฅ who believe. ๐ โMost assuredly, I say to you, ๐ he who ๐ believes in me Has ๐ everlasting ๐ฅ life.โ John 6:47 Not chosen for ๐ salvation; not ๐ฏ whoever โbehavesโ in Me; and it is ๐ even ๐ค not ๐ โwhoever ๐ฏ accepts me ๐ฏ into their heart as Lord and Savior,โ whatever that means; but it ๐ is to ๐ believe the very promise ๐ค that Christ has made ๐ to each and every human being. Whoever believes HAS (present tense) eternal life and will not ๐ฅ come into judgment. Why isnโt what Jesus said enough? We must ๐ keep the grace of ๐ค God in our sight at all times, Praise Him.
