 Well, I’m annoyed. I bought a game on Fanatical only to discover it was activated by another Steam account already. 

Has this every happened to you?

 @Chris Trottier Nope, I've been buying from them for years and never encountered this issue.
But you can contact Fanatical support. They're generally helpful.

 Wow! Fanatical literally solved the problem in minutes! They refunded my key and gave me another! Activation was successful!
