I love spending Bitcoin but have always been a spend and replace guy so it costs 1-2% depending on where you buy Bitcoin. More recently I found @thebtcco and have realized I can earn Sats back on money I am already going to spend by just buying gift cards and then buying the stuff I need with them.

Last year I started buying dips and then buying gift cards with LN withdrawals from @River as needed. The cost to acquire sats there is 1.2% so if you earn more in rewards than that then you’re coming out ahead. I basically turned River into a spend only checking account with LN capabilities. I have been consistently buying gift cards to places like Cabella’s, REI, Visa and hotels.com and earned a nice chunk of Sats back (140k so far at a 6% Sat back ratio).

Buying the dips has me way up on purchasing power now too. It’s sort of trading but whatever it worked in my favor this time. And if I would’ve lost purchasing power so be it. I know it could’ve gone the other way.
That is what we have been doing since May 2022 @thebtcco It has totally changed our finances, and it has given us more purchasing power and a good learning experience of having low preference. https://image.nostr.build/1795cc0edf791eb4b3cd7be92365b2ff3b2f37003c93af354065a9f1b332799c.jpg https://image.nostr.build/a566008511c51c86c0505794dec8de4f24ef890d82d4b0edb9e58a8e2a8b2f34.jpg
 Very nice 🫡
Wait...You got about 4 million sats?
 🙌
Any tips on how to stack so many sats like this?
Simply convinced that #Bitcoin is the standard. DCA and every time I spend bitcoin I buy bitcoin
 I hate this $0 bug @protom

We gotta fix it…. But honestly it’s appropriate.

You’ve stacked more bitcoin than most will own. Kudos
I agree, the $ value doesn't matter...what is impressive is to see the total in sats.

Thanks for the great work @thebtcco
Thank you sir. We are only in business cuz of you
 I like it
