@921b11f7 @92e87ec1 @3967703f I signed up for an appointment at the CVS, got charged $190 for the covid booster because "your insurance doesn't cover it". I pointed out that their location was listed as part of the Bridge Access program and was told my only options were to pay the $190 or cancel my appointment, and I wanted the shot and could afford it, so I went ahead and paid it.
@64a373a4 @92e87ec1 @3967703f I've seen a lot of people who had made appts reporting getting turned away bc of no actual vax available; and some bc of insurance/being told to pay. You're the 1st I've heard of telling the pharmacy point blank to use the Bridge Pgm and it still not working--but I'm sure that's just bc not enough ppl are asking for that. UGH, shitshow (My dad also had his appt he'd confirmed on the phone later canceled)
@64a373a4 @921b11f7 @92e87ec1 @3967703f Your insurance must cover it. I had difficulties with CVS too. Call your insurance to verify they do and rectify the information in CVS. It is interesting there's so many people having this issue, me included. I start to think it is systemic and not a coincidence
