 I put salt in my coffee and tea. I like the taste now and do it even if I'm not fasting. 
 Salt in coffee makes it taste better.

 Ratios get out of whack. Salt will make you hold water. It's just osmosis. You fix it by drinking more water without salt. Your kidneys cam only filter so much at a time, which is why you can't drink salt water. Same concept.

 I stopped being fat by eating more fat and salts. Amazing what not eating goyslop and getting enough proper nutrients will do for killing cravings

 Of course. I'd try lite salt though if you're trying to get electrolytes up. Sodium is in everything, and potassium is much rarer by comparison, and the ratio of Na:K is important for CNS, kidney function, and cardiovascular stuff. If you're just fasting for 5 days, a bit of regular salt in water will probably be fine. If you make it a regular thing, go more advanced.
