Sometimes it's better like that, The amount of government intervention in the province I reside, allowing people to raid this piggy bank to keep the real estate Ponzi going is astounding. Just remember the banks have so much exposure to real estate, The raiding of these, in a sly roundabout way is an inevitability to keep the banking system afloat. 

 To assist the ponzi scheme... Can't take it out until 65 and have the employer incentivize with matching so we can gave fresh cash flow to pay off the last "investor"
