 Is there any countermeasures on Nostr for account spam? Last time I checked you could setup an account in like 2 seconds and start posting. 

I imagine you could automate it pretty easy and start spamming

 I mean, for starters, you only see content that is related to you, either because you follow them or are a small number of connections removed, because they are talking about a hashtag or term that you searched for, or because they mentioned you.

If they are targeting you by naming you, you can at the very least rate limit which posts you see that are from anonymous accounts.

Spam can be mitigated, mitigation may lead to missed posts of interest, but tools for helping you identify and mitigate spam will improve when spam becomes a problem so for now, let's welcome it.
