new ZEUS PAY fee structure: https://docs.zeusln.app/lsp/fees#zeus-pay

Only 10% for amounts greater than 20 sats. That’s a 5x price drop.
Is everyone on here moving from WOS to Zeus?
No, not for a wallet that takes a cut of my zaps.
No. It sounds more appropriate for self-custody maximalists who run a Lightning node at home.
Latest beta on Zeus allows for a self-custody by running a node on your phone. Not saying it's ready for widespread usage (that's why it's in beta), but at some point the value-proposition will became a question of "Why not?". And self-custody maximalism will have nothing to do with the service.
At this point I’d rather trade custodial risks on my small WoS wallet than pay the fees on Zeus. I would probably reconsider if I carried large balances or needed to rely on larger txn sizes for a business or something more serious.
That's fair. My thinking is how close we are to a KYC-centric experience and how hard it is to reverse.
Tools and the lightning experience has rapidly improved over the last 5 years, and Bitcoin's in general over the past 14, and self-custody is becoming increasingly a better, safer, easier option - And while I think we've haven't reached a point of no return, if it even exists, it could be close. As an example, personally, it was easier for me to read a couple of wiki pages about Bisq and set myself up on there than the thought of having to sign up for some exchange and going all that it entails.
What was the fee structure before?
 50%

It's always interesting to see the edges of fee structures.

Send 20 sats, recipient gets 10
Send 21 sats, recipient gets 19

There's no way to send someone 11-18 sats.

These prices seem fairly reasonable, TBH. Yes, as a percentage they are scarey, but it's now a cap of ~ $0.10 USD per transaction. Even for a cup of coffee, that's pretty reasonable.

I mean, look, nobody likes fees (unless they're the ones collecting them), but if you have ever set up infrastructure before, you know it's a ton of work. The Zeus crew **should** get compensated for their work, as should everyone.

Is Zeus app open source? And why if not?
