I wasn't an exceptional English student, meaning, if I catch your spelling errors, they're probably egregious.
@7502a322 in my case it bothers me that my superiors representing me can barely spell. Makes me worry about the future of the outfit I'm attached to. It's more about professionalism than pedantry
@833914fe I've worked across several industries in my brief life. The middle-managerial class tends to be awarded on a "who you know" basis.
I *could * perform the sycophantic behavior to advance, but I'd probably hate myself for it.

@7502a322 Everyone I know and respect in my field is too smart to get into management. It's only a ten percent bump anyway--not worth it unless something is wrong with you.
