what's the best town/city/region on planet earth?

i have some pretty strong opinions (which i'd be happy to share) but i'm looking for some new additions for my list of places to visit 🤗

 Asturias
fuck yes. definitely top shelf 🤗
love florence, tuscany and basically any Italian coast like amalfi and the cinque terra
deffo. i'm a huge fan of italy 🙌🏼
My favorite places have way more trees than people... 😅
 and mountains for me 🤗
Same. Not that I can afford it, but... A mountain covered with trees near a mountain lake would be ideal.
bro... check out friuli. it's where i am (my gf is from here). it's literally perfect. lago cavazzo. lots of forest. 1 hour from beach. 1 hour from proper mountains. heaven on earth. just don't tell the normies 🤫
You just messed up. Kidding: I rarely travel. Sounds beautiful though
If cities then Lisbon is my fave in Europe. There’s something about it.
i haven't been yet but it's high on my list 🤗
If you can get there by internal combustion, it's automatically disqualified.

 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Honestly confused what you mean by this. If there's some island where the local authorities only allow engineless sailboats, that sounds too good to be true
I suppose that island would qualify, but the intent was that if you can drive there it's not one of the best places on Earth...
 Word 👍
Packing in on horseback though does qualify...
Portland Maine is probably the best city

Best town and region would be more difficult to narrow down since there are way more towns and regions
interesting choice, it wasn't on my list before, but i'll add it now ☺️
Portland is a great gateway to wilderness
Yeah, it might not be the city lover's city but it's the best lol
Sarajevo is a beautiful place as is pretty much all of Bosnia, there is quite some things to see up north around the region of Banja Luka... Southwest Serbia is very wet compared to the northern regions, and is nice, Kurshumlija and Kosovo (I've not actually been all teh way to Kosovo)

Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria is pretty sweet, and the mountains nearby are amazing, Bansko and the Pirin and Rila mountains, i mean, Rila is ... OMG so fucking huge, when i first saw it as we cruised down the highway to Blagoevgrad, omg, i felt like i was looking at something completely unreal, it was so massive, the distance up to the peak was maybe 100km, the most massive mountain i have ever seen

Plovdiv, staying with Bulgaria, is a very interesting place, in the middle of the Thracian Plain, the hills are very interesting and just to zoom out to bulgaria, the train transport system is quite an experience, unlike any i've ever had anywhere in the world, really nice, and yes the whole country is amazing, but those are the two parts that really popped out for me

I think you could have quite a fun time following along teh Danube river also, i've seen many points along it, from Ruse to Vidin to Novi Sad to Budapest to Ulm and Cologne, really, all worth seeing, the Danube is something special

i personally am planning to migrate to the eastern plateau of the Rocky Mountain range ie Wyoming in the near future, i have specific reasons for this relating to relative safety and good culture and laws

Madeira is nice, but honestly the tourist tracks are wrong, the best parts are around Sao Vicente and the coastline east and west, and the high mountains behind it
awesome bud, thanks so much for the tips 🤙🏻
Kosovo is beautiful as well & close to Greece. Bluest water I’ve ever seen.
Toive in is different than to visit.
 Hawaii
