Yo Rusty, I came across this article today after looking for incandescents. He argues that the bulb issue is way overblown. Since the lux indoors is like 1/1000 of outdooors maybe there’s an element of truth that it’s hard to get enough NIR indoors using better bulbs. I’m quite convinced of the outdoor light argument but since there’s no UV or long range infrared with bulbs and the amounts are so small I’m sadly wondering if we can move the needle much. Your opinion?
Light is a non linear stimulus
Even a small amount of exposure can have massive amplified effects downstream.
And We need some extra red to counter the damaging blue anyway
