coercively publishing ads for your service in the name of the users is not ok

it must be voluntary

maybe it is common to be coercive towards users in mainstream dev but this is a userbase that cares about consent, and prefers to be able to verify, that's why we sign events at all

just because discord forces you to update every other day doesn't mean that's ok, it's not ok, it's just not ok 

 Valid point, I don’t think she was intentionally trying to get people to post notes without knowing. Devs pull be nicer in the way which they offer advice
