Each transaction is verified by network nodes through cryptography and added to the blockchain, creating a permanent and tamper-proof record. 

 Each block in the blockchain contains a group of verified transactions. 

 Fun fuct: Satoshi never used the word “blockchain” in the Bitcoin white paper. It used the word “Timechain”.
