StackOverflow is still better than AI chatbots.
FACTS
StackOverflow can't write 95% of stupid front end code for me.
If 95% of the code you write is necessarily stupid that's what should be fixed.
Front end code is probably 20% of what I'm writing (at the moment) and it's like annoying "overhead" that has to happen. So if an AI demon can do 95% of that 20% and I can focus the majority of my attention on the part of the stack that actually matters, I'm very happy. And my project moves ahead much more quickly.
It depends. If the individual knows what he wants and what he is looking for, these demonic little things are the best indexing and search system ever invented. The problem is that they invented something, but they want to push it on us as it were something much bigger than it is. And Stackoverflow demonstrated that it doesn't give a shit about its users and maintainers when it sold itself to the owners of these platforms.
