 infinite number of seeds would require infinite amount of compute.  infinite compute is impossible. 

 2^256 possible combinations to guess and check. Mathematically equivalent to finding a specific atom in the whole universe.

 Or ~10^77 possible combinations. Even if we assume there’s tens of millions of unique private keys, the probability that AI guesses one is ~10^(-70). No classical computer is able to screen so many keys without our lifetime. 

 Infinity is a very large number. If you look closer at the math, there are an astronomical possible number of seed phrases and all the computing power only the planet can only ever check a very very small fraction of them. AI doesn't have any special magic as it relates to randomness. Does that make sense?

 Even still. Quantum computers wouldn’t become much of a threat until they’re in the thousands or tens of thousands of qubits. ~36k qubits would break a hash in a year of compute. Best quantum computer now is ~500 qubits. It’s uncertain whether or not it’s physically or economically possible to get to the 10s of thousands anyway. Besides, it would be more profitable to just mine with it or we can always upgrade to 512 or a quantum resistant algo, thereby ending the quantum threat permanently. 

 There is a website somewhere that shows the progress of a computer program which is checking the balance of every possible seedphrase. I can't find the bookmark.  It will only need a couple trillion years to work through them all.... 

 It can but it will be expensive and take more time than you have years to live 

 It would take a long time for an AI program to generate all possible seed phrases. And then they must each be hashed.  

 This is a great question to which I have no answer lol Did you scare yourself while asking this question to yourself first? lmao I would.. 

 I think it's about the compute time to process each seed phrase taking too long. That's my 2 sats.
