Internet Archive always seemed like a deep state project moving towards a rug pull, the one you linked seems more 50/50 on which way it could turn out

Sadly the Internet Archive seems to have been pretty successful in setting up its rug pull, with a far bigger collection & many more volunteer hours spent building it
