**Fall Harvest: Elderberry**

With everything going on at the homestead, I was prepared to let the elderberries go to the birds. I still have plenty in the freezer from last season, but the berries were looking so good I couldn't resist spending a couple hours, harvesting, processing and cooking the berries down into concentrate. Ended up with over a quart of elderberry syrup.

 I got 10 pounds this fall. How many pounds did you get? 

 I couldn't say, just filled up the a plastic bin. There are still tons of elderberries in the bushes I just couldn't help myself and had to harvest some.  

 Love it. 

 Nice, my elderberry struggles in Texas I get a few berries per year.
