I hope things play out positively this time (clueless)
@Leaf Lord Thank you. At least this time I'm an adult with a job and can gtfo if shit hits the fan!
Where did she come from, where did she go?
Where did she come from, HIDDEN
@Leaf Lord Trying to figure out if this is you trying to hint at some sort of ascended conclusion I must come to about genetics or you're just a fan of Cotton Eyed Joe
The human mind is an incredible system of pattern recognition and association. Often we see patterns where there may have been none, yet still draw a conclusion relevant to our own situation. Is it then still patternless and accidental, or is there more to it?
Is it then an emergent situation, or one preordained?

Narrator : He quite liked Cotton Eyed Joe and the idea of breaking the rhyme appealed to his incomprehensible sense of amusement.
@Leaf Lord It's called schizoautism when Cotton Eyed Joe lyrics got you pondering at 10 pm on a Saturday where she really came from and where she really will be going...
And yet... my point still stands.
@Leaf Lord Symbols and all the whacky combinations of them contain particular characteristics formed both of the quality of the symbol (see Germanic vs Latin parts of English) and the formed-association of the symbol. This allows them to evoke the ineffable nature of something far beyond the symbol by combining something essential and something arbitrary. The power of the symbol is it's ability to make the reader of the symbol see that nature, not the combination of symbols itself which will always be purely reductive towards what it's actually secretly referring to. I have no idea how this answers the question actually. I'm going to roll with both. Emergent because there are many ways to evoke the thing (although they will always be differently coloured accordingly), and preordained because what the symbols are referring to is so pure and true that it can be spotted endlessly over and over again and uh also both at once because uh the wheel weaves as the wheel wills buddy.
Everything in existence is a two way street. Reality is held together by paradoxical truths (chicken and egg) . I am glad that you understand. (I knew you did)

>hitting me with WoT's "it is what it is"
I think my heart skipped a beat there.
@Leaf Lord I wrote that entire shpiel but I decided the wheel weaves as the wheel wills was a much more elegant (and complete),way to answer the entire question! Had to leave my shpiel in though (I am a pseud)
 We love our little thinkcels
