I’m back on my #CSS anchor positioning wagon. This time, I use it to connect a couple of pieces of design together, as I did last year with a bunch of wacky background gradient hacks. This time, no hacks! Okay, all right, one hack, as a little treat. https://meyerweb.com/eric/thoughts/2023/10/05/an-anchored-navbar-solution/ https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/183/314/579/828/590/original/95a965b764ca1c06.png
@c4691757 Have you read our counter proposal? https://fantasai.inkedblade.net/style/specs/css-anchor-exploration/
@c4691757 Unsolicited feedback (from smartphone without testing): use `aria-current=page"` on the link so you tie programmatic exposure to the effect. The selector `li.currentPage` would become `li:has(a[aria-current])`. Assuming my construct is right.
