Seriously though, my experiences running Breez have also been frustrating. The syncing takes so long and if my phone goes to sleep or I put the app into the background it stops. I could never make it work for me, so I ended up using other Lightning wallets.
Sovereignty always takes a little extra work.
I’ve run a node for 3 years, don’t need a lesson in that. 😁

Merely anecdotally, Breez has been the best and most stable experience of the bunch for me for the past 2 years 😂 I’ve had other people tell me the opposite too though, that it didn’t work for them. Not sure what makes the difference.

are you using Android or iOS? and yes, Neutrino takes longer to sync.
iOS. Is there any way to speed up the syncing process?
Open the app frequently
and don't force close the app to allow it to sync in the background

If the sats are back on chain I don’t think they will show in your wallet. You will probably need to recover them from the seed phrase backup. At least that’s how it works with Phoenix.

When you created your Breez wallet did you back up your seed phrase? That’s where your sats would be found.

If you click on the littltext recycle logo it will say the sync percentage. I have had to wait 5 minutes before, but the more often you open it, the quicker it syncs. Usually it takes less than 20 seconds to sync for me
