Thinking about tweaking our fee structure for ZEUS PAY:
A
Min amt: 10
10-1,000 sats: 20%
> 1,000 sats: 200 sats
B
Min amt: 20
20-2,500 sats: 10%
> 2,500 sats: 250 sats
Note that with these lower fees, you’d almost certainly need a channel from OLYMPUS to be able to redeem payments on the low end.
Whatcha think nostriches? A, B, or are both still too high for you to consider using for zaps?
No promises, but would love to get some feedback.
I just checked and the nostriches all agree, min 7 sats is a must
Would sacrifice the fee percentage to be higher then. Would have to be at least 25% then
It will not work. Micro-fees for micropayments if you want to touch this segment

C
21 - 4000 sats 5%
> 4000 sats 200
I'd like to be able to set my own higher minimum
I go for A.
I rather have a smaller minimum with higher fees.
If the nodes in the phone...I'm down for whatever.
But I like option B.
Remind me again, does the fee structure change if we open a channel with X amount of sats?
Nope still 10k for an open
Yeah, but it changes to 1% if I post more than a million sats.
The fee structures the same.
I think B sounds good. So what happens when the minimum isn’t met? And is this the same kind of threshold that some people have been asking for to reject spam?
Invoice won’t get generated
Ideally as a Zeuspay user I could optionally slave any payments below x number of sats (probably 50,000 for my liking) to forward to a cashu mint, LNbits API key, Alby account /other LN address. (Whichever is technically easiest to implement). Then maybe have Zeuspay connect to the NWC of other wallet to make a 50000 payment to my node in the phone when the balance exceeds that amount.
10%-50% fees stink and options would be awesome. 🤷
B+
Min amt: 21
21-2,100 sats: 10%
> 2,100 sats: 210
Going to this?

seems like higher fees are bothering new onboarding types, But the user that appreciates connecting to their node would be less bothered. Lower fee structure for connecting to Olympus is intuitive.
I think min amount is problematic. We're still very early and sending tiny sats is common still.
On the other hand, it's kind of a spam filter 🤔
