Found out that PGP keys can be huge.

Who knows what are the upper size limits are on (kind 0) events? 50kb?

When should we ask devs to include a URL of their PGP public key instead of its full text?

They can be huge because they can have actual images inside them. Ideally they would strip that
Thanks! Stripping images and annotations is a good idea
That's what sites like PGP.mit.edu were for back in the day.
Each relay will have a different limit. I think 2/4k is safe. 50kb should definitely be rejected.
 Are 50kb kind 3s rejected?
It depends on the relay. I would hope that most relays reject something that size, because relays are not data stores. They relay notes and other stuff from one user to another. Last time I checked the limit was much lower, but I dont know the current per relay limits.
Thanks, not sure. Long form articles can be way larger and maybe less important than a PGP key. We'll see what happens! Our relay certainly doesn't have those tiny limits
