Isnt a VPN a bad analogy? Nobody can see your tor traffic. 
isnt it more like DNS?

how many people are using i2p? what kind of anonset are we talking? 

 VPN can be restricted to a terminal, app, virtual machine etc. I used this analogy because normally we dont trust VPN to delete the logs.

 

 even if they are, theres no central authority capable of logging your Tor traffic.
