Modern Christianity is like a bunch of people who joined a jujitsu gym and never actually roll, but instead just sit around and talk about jujitsu. They believe their actions/work/practice won’t make them 
black belts but belief in the sport alone. Because they have no action/practice/works to inform their beliefs, necessarily their beliefs, stray from the truth. 

Actions matter to God more than words or prayer. God loves proof of work.

He made it very clear he only knows the Holy Scriptures in terms of memorization. Quite literally picks and chooses verses and his own interpretations to come up with his own custom Theology that isn’t shared by anyone else (common among Protestants)
