No one really uses communities. Think there's a lot of people who would rather follow topics, or prefer a messageboard, or long form (highlighter, Letr whenever it gets released). More sophisticated and customisable feed would be great, coracle has started with this and apparently Damus is introducing it soon.. In the meantime kinda makes sense to follow hashtags rather than people, maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We need communities, the problem is the current implementation of mixing it all in the main feed - I call it 'the prebiotic soup model', we need more isolated communities to protect from intrusion (i call it the island model). Those that travel between communities will help spread the most quality content. nostr:nevent1qqs9ydn8xrdtp4ves9pps84ejvntawv0hyq629xxrh9e632324s6k0gpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsygxufnggdntuukccx2klflw3yyfgnzqd93lzjk7tpe5ycqdvaemuqcpsgqqqqqqsuhdjaf
