IMO it’s an over correction to not look like the legacy financial world. Nothing against suit wearing but in America if someone is wearing a suit in a business setting that’s dead giveaway we (bitcoiner) are probably not aligned.
I prefer to oppose wear. Noderunners hoodie to the large common meeting with the Dutch Central Bank and the Authority of financial markets. 3 layer suit to the individual meetings with the people of DNB and AFM. I always thought suits were a slave thing like you have a literal tie around your neck. that's a leash? I really wonder what started the whole suit thing I tried on ties at some point and I noticed if I had them on it made me docile, I guess kind of like cats go limp if you pick them up by the scruff or how animals will put their jaws around the neck of another to establish dominance. so it makes me wonder. and I'm kind of irrationally angry that we force people to wear suits as a result, because I think people are too docile as it is

A lot of the really rich, powerful men in tech wear hoodies, like Mark Zuckerberg. It's become almost a "tell".
