Filet mignon is tasteless, why do people like this cut? Just because tender?
I like a nice filet. Grocery store used to sell whole tenderloins for $20. I'd buy and cut it up. Perfect portions for a weeks worth of lunches. https://image.nostr.build/588be4b911fb05af63630bdd562c3fbcb24d9d1901e2d31479f02a114b323a61.gif
Yeah, we like them, too. I like how tender and lean they are. Ribeyes taste good, but it's a lot of fat. Keto and carnivore people are having a stroke reading that, I know. We focus a lot on protein and keeping calories down. Different strokes.
Always gives me a smiley when the filet mignon is more expensive than the ribeye. 😋
Everyone disses on the skirt steak…
Skirt is honestly top 3 best flavor steak but mid texture
Regularly found cheeks in the discount section when in Australia. Aussies don't know what they're missing.
And top sirloin.

I had the other day, too tough for my weak jaw lol
Yes because it’s tender. It’s not everything, but it is something.
