Why do you wish such a thing?

When you meat someone in life, are you not skeptical? 🧐

Why should nostr be any different?

Existing on nostr does not and should not grant any immediate benefits or credibilities.

Proof of work forever, demand people put in the work to reap rewards.

It’s like that meme where the guy is looking at the other chick, people be attracted to the new nostriches instead of zapping the existing ones.
Why do I wish to not be skeptical ? bc I remember a time where we used a site or service that would link your twitter to your npub n give your npub a sort of legitimacy amongst other clones (if you’re a public figure) n for me it was an easy way to follow people that I knew on the platform where I was coming from, I’m curious if something like this will be built for people coming from other platforms

I’m not for KYC, I’m an anon as you can tell, I’m just looking for solutions to legitimate problems, it’s not like I’m speaking out of my ass lol you’ve been here long enough to have encountered Cassie, LightX etc
Yah, I just think those methods were ALWAYS intellectually lazy.

Especially with the growth of AI, as you are certainly aware, we need to return to old school methods of determining credibility.

You didnt gain credibility through linking yourself to some past life, you built it through work. Posting. Frog talk. Participating. That’s the way.
I think we’re both right in our own ways because if maybe I had built something in my past life it could’ve contributed in a way like it did for those that I followed bc of their past lives, either way agreed. It is the way 🫡
Yah but if you had a following you’d just post your npub on your old social media and people would… follow you to nostr :-)
3k followers and maybe 5 actually followed me here 🤣
 Sounds like a great ratio!

I doubt @jack's was much better ;-)
 Great ratio indeed!

He brought me here n for that I’ll forever be grateful amongst other contribution’s 🫂
Weaponized shit posting is hard werk
