Totally ok in my opinion.

You have to take more at first when engaging in new topics.

On the other hand, you might bring value even if you only ask questions.

Maybe you ask a question never ask before, shining a completely new light on a topic? 

 I didn’t think it from that perspective. I agree with you.

It may open new avenues of discussion.

Or it may help others with the same question.
