it's so easy to spin up spam bots to game the algorithm, nip-05 blacklist puts a stop to that

I still don't understand why. I don't really even get what they are there for, anyway.
it's basically a captcha. any profile that has one from a domain that is not blacklisted is statistically less likely to be spam
I suppose that makes sense.
you can also manually add profiles to lists so that they will influence rankings even if they don't have a nip-05
