A communications satellite built by Boeing has reportedly broken apart while in orbit. The Intelsat 33e satellite stopped functioning due to an "anomaly" and was later confirmed as a "total loss". This incident follows Boeing's troubled Starliner mission and a criminal fraud charge over 737 Max plane crashes.
