Visited my dad today. He's improving on a daily basis. He's now using a walker, "walking like a natural man." (movie reference) 😃 If he hadn't been walker and cane averse, not sure he'd be in this situation in the first place.
@3967703f glad to hear he’s doing better. I have a 95 year old mom. It isn’t easy for them getting older and losing their independence. I suspect for my mom there’s an element of fear behind it that if she “gives in” to help, walkers or people, then it’s all downhill from there. I try to remember it’s not about stubbornness so much as not wanting to lose control. I have to admire that she’s willing to stay in the fight as long as possible.
@3967703f so good to hear! Hoping for continued, speedy recovery!
