Name and twttr handle is optional, and e-mail can literally be anything (though yes, I should clarify that, will do so).
I am not “collecting” data, though I might one day send an opt-in email to ask people if they want to hear when my next edition comes out (am working on it currently). 

 Ok, now you're talking 😃  - if everything is optional, then I'm pefectly ok with it.

Asking for is fine (some folks may want to be contacted) and others not...leaving it up to each person is the right way to go.
