 Hello #nostriches

I have a question. What site would you recommend for a curious newb to learn the basics of how bitcoin works? A new local acquaintance of mine is asking some really good questions and I'm not sure on answering them well enough, and I trust that I'd get better directions here than randomly searching for a while.

I mostly know books, but one website is https://casebitcoin.com/
 Thank you.
21millionTV is an excellent educational channel on YouTube. Their videos are short, 5-10 minutes, and tackles all of the basics in a very accessible way.

For a deeper dive, https://armantheparman.com/ is another great resource, as is https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information.html and https://bitcoin.org/en/resources
I’m not sure about a website, but I can highly recommend s few books.

This one is for anyone who understands basic math, I’d say usually around age of 8 and up. It’s fun to read for adults too. It explains rather “why” than “how” in a short and simple way: https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/Bitcoin-Money-Tale-Bitville-Discovering/dp/0578490676

More technical one for adults explaining the “how”, I’d recommend this one: https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/Mastering-Bitcoin-2e-Andreas-Antonopoulos/dp/1491954388
Even for non coders, it explains the “how” nicely and you can always skip what gets to technical.
It sounds like I need to read these myself! Thank you!
