I disagree with the "you're going to have to go it alone" line. 

It should be a part of our lives that we surround ourselves with people who will support us. We choose who is a part of our lives, maybe with some exceptions to family. I want to choose people who will celebrate my wins.  

 Absolutely. Probably should have said you’ll have to go it alone for awhile. Eventually you meet your people on the other side. 

 I read it as if you alone will have to make decisions, others can't do it for you. 

Different interpretations I guess.
