npub.pro is insanely underrated as a nostr product!

#notedeck
 I honestly forgot about it
 Its beautiful.
It's a great way to reach the general public with your nostr notes. You can fine-tune which notes and articles are available on your site, and it works like a blog platform. I've been using it for about a month and I love it.
I’m not familiar. Will need to go check.
It's really cool. You sign up with your nostr credentials, and you can create your own personal blog/article website. You can do the free tier where you have a subdomain (slcw.npub.pro), or you can subscribe to one of their paid tiers and use your own domain name. And you can automatically curate which which notes and articles it pulls from nostr for inclusion in your site. It's really nice.
I recently got off all paid platforms and set up my own $0 hosting model via GitHub and Netlify. Would love to use this with my own domain, but not as a subscription service. Might try out the free tier anyway - I could be converted to paid.. maybe.
If you're cool with using a subdomain, there's no need to use the paid tier.
That was quick and easy. Need to find a better dark (or responsive) theme tho > https://bitcoinfgreen.npub.pro/
I'm not sure, but you might be able to make your own theme. I haven't looked into that. I found one that I like, and which works well for my purposes so I stuck with that. I suggest previewing every theme they have to see if there's one that meets your needs
Yeah I tested them all and found one I liked. Can't seem to figure out what determines a *featured* note or how to select/deselect features notes - but still pretty cool for free! Updated my URL to https://bfgreen.npub.pro/
Featured notes are the ones visible on your "homepage". There's a setting that allows you to determine which notes are featured by hashtag. So you could define a hashtag called #featured and only notes with that hashtag would appear on your homepage. And you can define as many different hashtags as you want. There's also a general inclusion setting that defines which hashtags are included at all in your website.
Sorry for the confusion. Featured (pinned) posts are supported by some themes. You set Pinned posts in site admin panel, and those posts will always show at the top, and in supporting themes will be marked as 'featured'. Homepage hashtags are useful too, but those only filter posts, they don't prioritize them or mark them as featured.
You could self-host on Github pages, the first page load would be a bit slower, and no nice link previews, but still 100% usable https://blog.npub.pro/post/how-to-self-host-on-github/
 does it do RSS?
Yes, should even be suitable as podcast RSS feed
