US Postal Service Announces Temporary Rate Hike Ahead of Holiday Season

USPS has instituted a new postage price hike, effective October 6th, which will remain in effect until January 19th, 2025. The rate hike affects USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express, with varying increases based on package weight, retail vs. commercial use, and postal zone. Zone 1 (within 50 miles) sees a 30-cent increase, while Zone 9 (over 1,801 miles) experiences an $16 increase.
